Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP)

Provides low-cost spay/neuter services for feral and owned cats and dogs under 40 lbs. www.animalfriendsrescue.org

Best Life TNR & Rescue, Inc.

Provides TNR help in Monterey County, primarily Salinas. Foster program for rescued street kittens/cats based on availability. www.bestliferescue.org

Cat Crew California

TNR help in Hollister. Help schedule owned pets for spay/neuter. www.catcrewcalifornia.com 

Community Cat Allies

Trapping help available. https://www.communitycatallies.org/ Helps with TNR including trapping, transport and holding for recovery. They can also help with injured or sick feral cats on a limited basis. Please call or text: 831-202-2877, or email meg@communitycatallies.org 

For Feral's Sake

TNR focused rescue providing trapping assistance for spay/neuter services for feral and community cats in SBC. We also help injured/ill cats with medical services if needed. We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 charity   www.forferalssake.org

Garlic City Kitty

Heading Home Animal Rescue (HHAR)

Our Neighborhood Pet Project (ONPP)

Helps schedule owned pets at low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Provides TNR help for community cats in South Monterey County, primarily in Soledad and Greenfield. ONPP does not have traps to loan as they are frequently in use by their trappers, but ONPP does help people do the trapping and transporting. Fill out request on www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org 

Pet Friends and Rescue

Project Purr

Provides Santa Cruz County residents with free spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip for community cats (TNR). Traps are loaned out through Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter (Watsonville and Santa Cruz locations).

Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter

Assists Santa Cruz County residents and nearby counties with low-cost spay/neuter. Please call 831-454-7200. www.scanimalshelter.org

SNIP Bus

(Santa Cruz County, Monterey County, San Benito County) Serves owned pets and ferals. TEXT preferred to 925-967-1001. Serve many areas including Salinas, Prunedale, Hollister, Seaside, and unincorporated areas. SNIP Bus offers feral cat clinics that include vaccination and spay/neuter. https://www.snipbus.org/clinics


SPCA Monterey

SPCA Fixes and vaccinates ferals free of charge. Appointments are available, but they may be booked up to two months ahead of time. They may also offer a limited number of walk-up same day appointments. Plan on being there by 7AM. Please call 831-264-5400 or email spcaclinic@spcamc.org with any questions. South County Animal Rescue
