3-year-old solid black boy
Cowboy was rescued after being found on a street in Salinas with a severe infection affecting most of his tail, necessitating its amputation. This handsome boy sailed through surgery, and was so friendly that we brought him into our foster program. Cowboy has completely healed from his surgery and is currently living with several foster kittens. He is extremely social with people and easygoing with other cats. He loves playing with the balls in the cat meowntain and chasing spring toys. But his favorite activity is lounging with people who will pet him, and he rewards them with gentle purrs. Cowboy is a perfect fit for any family looking for a super friendly adult cat.
8-month-old long-haired black boy
Sonic is a long-haired solid black cat who was less than 2 months old when he and his sister Tails were rescued after being found covered in trash in a storm ditch in Greenfield. Sonic is an active and curious kitten who loves rumbling with his foster kitten buddies and bird watching. He also loves his lap time so he can get extra pets and kitty treats. Sonic is looking for an experienced cat parent without very young children who would consider adopting him with Ivy or another kitten in his foster home, as he also is buddies with Sammy and Ivy. 807
8-month-old gray tabby girl
Gorgeous Tails is a gray tabby with silky smooth fur who was found in a storm ditch in Greenfield when she was only 8 weeks old. Tails was found with her brother Sonic and she's the shyer of the two, although she does enjoy getting petted when she's feeling affectionate. Tails constantly follows her brother around and they often play and nap together. Tails loves passing the time playing with cat toys and lounging near the window to bird watch. She lives and gets along well with several other foster kitties. Because she is still a bit shy, Tails is waiting for patient adopters willing to give her the time to warm up and trust them. She would prefer a home without very young children and would thrive if another foster kitten from the same home, Sonic, Sammy, or Ivy, went to the same furrever home. 807

Creampuff is a beautiful orange tabby girl with large hazel eyes and an outgoing personality. She comes when called, and scent marks her foster parents to get more pets. Creampuff loves climbing on laps and lounging on shoulders, and is usually in motion, trying to get more head scratches and belly rubs. Creampuff will be getting new foster playmates soon, and she has only expressed only curiosity when meeting unfamiliar cats. She can be talkative and likes to give updates on what's been going on outside her windows for the past few hours. Creampuff can be shy when first meeting new people, but her friendly and gentle personality means she would do well in a relatively active home with children of any age or other four-legged friends. 48
1-year-old gray tabby girl
Ivy and her brother Sammy were rescued at an RV park in Greenfield. Ivy is an independent girl, but she does enjoy getting petted. She's more timid around people than Sammy and spends most of her time playing with the other foster kittens she lives with, but also bird watching and napping. Ivy also prefers to approach people on her own terms rather than being picked up, so she would prefer a home with no young children. She would love to be adopted with her brother or another foster kitten she's currently living with, like Sonic or Tails. 317
1-year-old black boy
Sammy and his sister Ivy were about 3 months old when they were rescued from an RV park in Greenfield. Sammy is more outgoing and is usually busy playing with his cat toys or bird watching. Sammy lives with other foster kittens and they play together constantly. While he likes being petted, he's more reticent about being picked up. He would do well in a medium energy home with other four-legged companions, especially if it's his sister Ivy, or playmates Sonic or Tails. 318

Chrissy is part of the Three's Company Litter, three siblings turned over to ONPP when their family in Greenfield was no longer able to care for them. Chrissy and her siblings are in a wonderful foster home where they rule their kitten room. Chrissy is the most curious of the litter, and eager to meet new people. She loves checking out new objects and playing with her siblings. Chrissy may be the smallest, but she is a high energy kitten, so she's looking for an active home where she'll get plenty of love and attention, preferably with friends to keep her company. 329
9-month-old torbie girl
Beautiful Smokey has the unusual mix of a tortoiseshell with black and orange combined with the brown tabby stripes, making her a torbie. She is shyer than her brother Spice, preferring to let him take the lead. She loves playing with her brother and is quite active. We expect that with continued handling and interactions with her foster family, she will soon become even more comfortable and confident around humans. Smokey would love a furrever family willing to continue working with her to gain her confidence around people. 625
9-month-old long hair tabby boy
Spice is a long hair white, tabby, and Maine Coone mix boy who is in foster care with his sister Smokey. He has befriended his foster dad after only a short time and can be quite playful. Spice and his sister love chasing each other through their foster home, where he gets along well with the resident cats and does not seem to be bothered by dogs. Spice has been gaining confidence with people and is looking for a home where he can have plenty of attention to reinforce his relationship with people. 625

Stella is part of a litter of five kittens surrendered to ONPP when the caretaker for her feral colony wanted a better life for them. Stella and her siblings have been in foster care in Marina where they are living with other foster kittens. Stella was initially a bit shy when she arrived, but has been growing more accustomed to her new home. She loves playing and wrestling with her siblings, and is particularly fascinated with the cat meowntain toy. Stella would appreciate being adopted with one of her siblings into a medium activity level home with plenty of playtime for them! 322
6-month-old brown tabby boy
Ambon is a handsome brown tabby boy with piercing green eyes. He and his siblings were rescued from a feral colony in Greenfield when the caretaker was gathering cats for our TNR program. Ambon and his sister Valentini are in foster care together and becoming more friendly and confident around people. Ambon is the more active kitten and constantly plays with the wand toy and climbs his cat scratcher. He also enjoys flopping onto his side in the middle of the floor, stretching out and lounging for hours. Ambon is looking for a patient adopter willing to give him time to trust his new family. He is a medium energy kitten who would be happy to be adopted with his sister. 918
6-month-old tuxedo girl
Valentini is a lovely black and white kitten with gorgeous green eyes who is six months old now. She was rescued from a feral colony in Greedfield with her siblings and is currently living in a foster home with her brother Ambon. Valentini is the more mellow and shy of the two kittens, but she will make eye contact and hold your gaze for long periods of time, which means she is interested in more interaction. Valentini is gradually becoming more friendly, but is looking for a family with the patience to cultivate her trust and help her gain more confidence. Valentini would do best in a low to medium activity level home and would love to be adopted with her brother. 918

Kevin is a six-month-old handsome orange tabby from his light pink nose down to his solid orange toes! He's living with several other foster kittens and spends his time playing with the other kittens and watching the activity in the trees outside the windows. Kevin loves playing with his cat toys, especially with the wand toy and mouse. He enjoys meeting new people and getting lots of cuddles and pets. Kevin’s friendly and easygoing personality makes him a great addition as a single cat or into a home with other animals as well. He would prefer a home with other companions to play and nap with and is excellent with very young children. 322
4-month-old orange tabby boy
RECENTLY ADOPTED WITH HIS BROTHER TOBY
Tim and his brother Toby were rescued in Gonzales when they were found alone in worker housing when only a few months old. They were treated for a respiratory infection and are fully recovered now. Tim and his brother are constantly chasing each other around and wrestling with their toys. Tim is more shy than his brother, and usually looks to him for guidance, so his furrever family should be patient enough to help him gain more confidence. While Tim can be adopted by himself, he would love to be adopted with his brother into a medium activity level home. 315
4-month-old orange tabby boy

They were treated for a respiratory infection and are fully recovered now. Toby is the more confident of the two, and usually leads the way. Toby likes being around people and happily follows his foster parents around. He is quite playful, and when it's time for a break, he loves making biscuits. Toby was featured on KION as the Pet of the Week on February 6th. Toby would love to be adopted with his brother, Tim, who is a little more shy, into a low to medium activity level home. 315

Sweet Janet is one of six kittens that entered ONPP's foster care program after a Greenfield family was unable to care for them. Janet and one brother and one sister are together in a foster home in Salinas. Janet is the mellowest one, content to sit on her warm blanket and watch her siblings play. But when she's in the mood, she's all about running through her toy tunnel and dashing around the room. Because of her young age, Janet is still working on her kitten skills, so she would be happy with a medium energy home with children over five years and even other feline friends. 312

One of five kittens rescued from a feral colony, Manni is a more reserved kitten, preferring to have his twin brother, Aro, take the lead. His long and colored fur makes him quite the fluffy kitten and his coat will definitely need regular brushing. Manni and his siblings all play well together and particularly enjoys the wand toy. They like to nap in groups as well. Manni hasn't been tested with dogs or children yet, but he would likely do well in a low to medium energy home. 218
13-week-old Russian Blue boy
RECENTLY ADOPTED WITH MELEA
Dragon was rescued when a young Greenfield resident heard him crying in an alleyway behind her home. She quickly realized the kitten was very ill and gave him to ONPP so he could receive immediate medical attention. After 3 weeks of intensive care and love, Dragon has fully recovered and is nearly ready for his furrever family. He only has partial vision in his left eye but requires no special care. He's constantly initiating play with the other foster kittens and loves meeting new people. Dragon is hoping for a high energy home with other four-legged companions to play with. 222
13-week-old long-hair tortoiseshell girl
RECENTLY ADOPTED WITH DRAGON
Melea arrived at ONPP because the caretake of her colony realized her friendliness and long hair made her a better fit for an indoor home than her current conditions. She's one of five kittens in the Pufferfish Litter, all of which are now in foster care in Marina. Melea is a beautiful tortie girl with the most vibrant markings between her ears. This long-haired beauty enjoys getting attention from people and will purr loudly in response. She and the other foster kittens are frequently chasing and wrestling with each other. Melea is a low to medium energy kitten who would thrive in a home with children and/or four-legged friends. Getting adopted with a littermate would be the bonus! 222
